After never getting my instruments looked at for years, in the past few weeks I had to visit the store a number of times to get my electric guitar fixed, and then my bass guitar, and rent an amp. In the past I haven’t had great experiences at music shops, but every time at this store, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Quentin and Joe were just so kind and delivered such top notch and personable customer service. Also, pleased at the really great rental rates. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

Disgusting. A few month back I was looking for a new Gibson Les Paul. An old sales guy pulled out a demo/rental with scratches/dents all over it and tried to sell me as new. Today the store manager approached to me when I was returning a guitar with a chipped fretboard. I was told because I returned/exchanged 4 online orders in the past year(3 due to quality issues) I will be charged a restock fee if I ever return anything again. I mean, you sell me defective products and it’s my problem wanting a return/exchange? Where’s your satisfaction guarantee and hassle-free return policies? And, they charged me $12 for returning which was supposed to be free! I purchased more than $10k of instruments from cosmo music this year and never had any problems. Guess L&M just don’t care about their customers. Update: the store manger called after the review and tried to sort out.

Marco's a true gem in this store! He's really knowledgeable with almost everything that's music related. I just got the Tonex pedal from him, he was kind enough to run through the basic instructions on how to use it and gave me a few tips on it as well. Top tier customer service!!

Been going here for over a decade always the best spot for any kind of music equipment. I want to shout out Quentin Wilson and Michael Di Monte cause they are always an incredible help. Always knowledgeable, kind, patient and easy to deal with. There are too many occasions to count where these two either together or one of them has gone above and beyond to help me with my purchases. I hope the management sees this because they truly deserve to be recognized for the service they provide. Long and McQuade is an asset to our community and I will always shop here.

CHRISSY was very knowledgeable and helpful when I had to change my strings VERY last minute. She was patient while I decide to put on D'Addario or Elixir. It might be a small thing but for a Long & McQuade client for 8 years like me, I appreciate the customer service experience where she went the extra mile! Thank you! (I chose Elixir...yet again!)

Came to pick up some reeds for my daughter and ended up staying longer to browse around. Store is really big and lots of musical instruments and staffs are friendly and knowledgeable.

My experience from this store was not good. I specifically came from Windsor to the store. I emailed in advance just because I wanted one specific piece of Octopad and they said it is available and they gave me the serial number as well but when I reach at the store and they gave me the Octopad, but it was not working. The sound quality of the was very bad I was very disappointed. The staff was very nice humble but they couldn’t help me. I drove all the way from Windsor to Steele just because I wanted this piece but you know I wasted my trip. They could have told me in advance that it’s not working.

The staff were incredible. The manager is amazing. They use a electronic not paper based system for rental agreements. Rentals are a breeze and the technical knowledge from staff is top notch.
